In Ky. this northeastern species of boggy seeps is known from few verified sites. B's site was rediscovered in MCRE (F, US, EKY, KY) during 1987 (Palmer-Ball et al. 1988), and another site was discovered nearby in 1978 (FSU, NCU). However, B's site in ELLI (US) has not been relocated. Details of more recent reports by NP are not well documented. T. Littlefield (pers. comm.) of NP was unable to locate plants at any sites in 2011.
