This is the commonly cultivated cucumber. Although occasional waifs have been found outside cultivation, naturalized populations are unknown in Ky. The related African species, C. anguria L. ("maroon cucumber"), may also be expected; there is a coll. fromJ. Thieret's garden in CAMP (KNK).
