Steironema radicans (Hook.) Gray
ALI: no HAB: 6,3?, n/a, D?, 2 ABU: g7?, s2, -4
This southeastern species occurs mostly in swampy woods of the lower Mississippi watershed. There are only a few records from Ky., all from the Mississippi Rv. bottoms, and with only one known accessed coll. (from HICK at TENN). The species resembles small plants of ciliata, but it is distinct in its prostrate stoloniferous habit and other characters. L. radicans, tonsa and lewisii form a distinct group of plants that lack cilia on petioles except at the base (Estes et al. 2015).
