Mapping here is tentative. This relatively hairy segregate (F) has not been recognized in most recent treatments (Cr, W, FNA 9). In general, these records may represent plants intermediate betrween the three recognized species. Several records may be transitional to ioensis (especially) or to coronaria (perhaps). The type has been included within M. coronaria (FNA 9).
