This tall white-spiked Japanese herb is sometimes cutivated in North America but rarely naturalized. It has been collected from an old field in MCRA during 1972 (R. Athey #1929, WKY, EKY). More recently, there are records of possible garden escapes from CAMP (KNK), MENI (APSC) and POWE (JC at 37.90347, -83.92085)
