This European pasture weed is widely scattered across cool, humid, temperate regions of North America. It is rare to absent in southeastern states except at higher elevations (K, W). In Ky., there are only a few scattered records from north-central and eastern regions. Some colls. of repens have been misidentified as acris (including from BARR and GARR in SERNEC of May 2020).
