This Australian weed is widely scattered across North America, especially southeastern and Pacific regions (K). The few records from Ky. all date from after 1960, and appear to be based mostly on waifs in horticultural contexts. However, Abbott et al. (2004) found the species along banks of the Ohio Rv. in LEWI (BEREA).
