This subaquatic species is widespread in warmer American regions. In Ky. it was first collected during the 2000s from GRAV (EKY) and HEND by D. White (KSNPC) and E. Hartowicz; see also Clark et al. (2005). It has also been found in SIMP and TODD (APSC; M. Brock, pers. comm.).
